Cykling and Walking Trails

With Arboga as a starting point, there are a number of bike trails available of different lengths. Gravel roads and tracks will take you right out into the wonderful countryside.

Walking Trails 

Ramstigens kultur- och naturstråk (cultural walk)

The old district road, Ramstigen, winds its way beside Arboga River west of the town centre. It is surrounded by varying countryside and historical sights that can be reached via beautiful lanes and forest paths. 

Säterboleden

A trail by Lake Kvarnsjön and the area around Hjälmare Canal. The trail takes you past Hjälmare Dock, Finnhäll and Vägge flat rocks. Length: 13 kilometres.  

Tjurlångsleden

Beautiful and varied countryside. Why not take the opportunity to find the ancient monument, Halvarsborg. Length: 10 kilometres.

Hälsans Stig

A walk in central Arboga. With street lights and easy accessibility walk the streets of Arboga. Length: 5 kilometres

Pilgrimsleden (Pilgrims' Way)

In Arboga, The trail starts at Marieborg where the mediaeval asylum was situated. The trail takes you via Valskog towards Kullingelöt through the forest all the way to Kröcklinge. Length: 20 kilometres.
